September sees Faversham’s high street make way for the annual Faversham International Hop Festival, celebrating the hop harvest and the old days of hop picking.

Taking place on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September, 20,000 people are expected to enjoy the 80 different musical activities, street entertainment, varied food and plenty of beer.

This year there are several open air stages inviting you to enjoy a complete spectrum of music and apart from a few concerts behind closed doors all are absolutely free and provide entertainment for the entire family throughout the town both days.

Many pubs in and around Faversham town centre will also have live music. Please consult the programme on the day for times, places and details of bands playing.
